Simplify the Web

5 years ago if you asked someone what a blog was, they would have looked at you and said what are you talking about?! Today, blogs have become a very simple and popular way for people to put information the internet with minimal effort. A great way to publish information about themselves, their thoughts or anything else.

Some of the more popular blog sites out there, like Blogger and Blogspot, are useful if you are trying to setup a simple and free blog to start blogging about your thoughts and ideas. The issue that exists in these free sites is that there isn't an easy solution for a business, large or small. Businesses usually have a site that has been designed for them and are looking for something that can integrate with their existing sites and nothing more. Dotcomonomics has been working on something like that for a while.

The idea was to create a system without structure and themes to allow for any website to integrate the content of the blog with minimal customization. We have finally done that. This blog is the result of just that.

While there is an overwhelming number of solutions out there for a Linux environment, like WordPress and others, there aren't many for the Dot Net environment, (windows). Our first goal was to work out a solution for the .Net Framework, which has been completed. This is the first version in windows. Stay tuned as we work on our solution in PHP as well, offering a solution to all that wish to seemless and easily integrate their blogs into their sites with minimal effort.
